After-Hours Services
Provided by Animal Emergency Service
Animal Emergency Service practices in the same building as Puget Sound Animal Hospital for Surgery. They are, however, a separate business and have their own doctors and staff. Per the Puget Sound Animal Hospital doctors’ instructions, AES provides care for our patients that are hospitalized overnight. If your pet should experience any complications during the time they are under the care of AES, immediate contact will be made with your pet’s surgeon.
AES is not able to discharge our patients and, due to the busy nature of their emergency practice, they are not able to accommodate personal visits while your pet is under their care. AES business hours are:
- Monday through Thursday 6 pm to 8 am.
- Friday 6 pm through 8 am Monday morning.
- Animal Emergency Service is open 24 hours/day during holidays.
