Recheck Appointment and Radiographs
Suture removal appointments are generally 10 to 14 days post-surgery. Your suture removal appointment will be scheduled at the time of release of your pet.
A recheck radiograph appointment should be made approximately 6 weeks following surgery. These X-rays are necessary for the doctor to evaluate the healing process and determine the next steps towards recovery.
Occasionally a recheck appointment will be scheduled for 1 month postop. Your surgeon will determine when and if a recheck appointment is necessary for your pet.
