What to Expect the Day of Surgery
All surgical patients are admitted between 7:30 to 8:30 am on the day they are scheduled for surgery. Upon arrival, we will take your pet to a comfortable run or cage and will go over a Hospitalization Agreement with you. We will request a phone number where the doctor can call you after surgery is completed.
We start surgery cases at approximately 8 am. The order of the surgery cases depends on the type of surgery and the doctors’ schedules. This means that your pet’s surgery may be started anytime between 8 am and 6 pm, depending upon the caseload.
